A story that reaches back to the Middle Ages

Gasthof GOLDENE TRAUBE located directly at the market square is already mentioned in documents from the Middle Ages and one of the oldest buildings in Golling. The restaurant in the heart of Golling, which used to be known as “Voggenhuber”, has been a popular meeting place since centuries.

Loving details, such as the numerous paintings on the facade, make our traditional house an eye-catcher in the charming city centre of Golling.

Angelika Filseker, the owner of the inn, took over the house in the mid 1990s from her mother, Theresia Voggenhuber. Together with her motivated team and her family she managed to make the inn a meeting place for young and old, locals and guests from all over the world. New creative ideas, like the cosy beer garden opened in 2005, combined with ongoing renovations of the traditional walls makes our authentic house worth a visit.
